Since 2016 Bowmill has proudly sponsored UK Autograss Championship driver Jordan Barlow.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, National Autograss Association only allowed practice days near the end of the season, so Jordan and the race car did not see much action. 2021 allowed racing to commence but to members only and no spectators.
Jordan had a difficult start to the 2021 season with car troubles in his Class 2 Micra and requiring an operation on his lower back. This meant that the League championship and a chance at the Men’s Nationals were dashed for the year.
All was not lost however, as Jordan signed up to take part in the United Kingdom Autograss Championship (UKAC), involving 5 rounds across the Country which started later in the year.
After a close fought championship, in November Jordan was confirmed as Class 2 Champion 2021! A big congratulations from all here at Bowmill.
Jordan has signed up for the UK Autograss Championship for 2022 and is aiming to defend his title and qualify for the Men’s National Championship. Everyone here at Bowmill wishes him the best of luck.
