Bowmill Poole is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer.

Specific Duties

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the sub-assembly of machined components to aerospace requirements and standards including:

  • Bearing and bush assembly
  • Lee plug and helicoid inserts
  • Valves assembly [valve seats]
  • Fasteners/wire locking/beading
  • Self-inspection and testing of finished product

You must be able to understand 2D drawings and assembly instructions/technique.

Previous experience in mechanical assembly is essential and experience in pressure testing would be an advantage.
