Bowmill is currently seeking a CNC Miller – Programmer/Setter/Operator.
Your main responsibilities will involve;
- Programming, setting and operating CNC MILLS with FANUC [or Siemens] operating control system to produce prismatic components to customer drawings and specifications
- Producing offline and online CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Experience of Edgecam and Solidworks software/programming is an advantage but not essential
- Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
- Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S
Your skills and qualifications as a fully skilled CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator:
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
- General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
- Working knowledge of fourth and fifth axis machines is an advantage
What we are looking for in you:
Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry.
